How can I communicate to users?

You can communicate with users at a few different levels depending on what you're looking to achieve. Let's break down the different ways you can reach out to users.

The Nudge

Are you noticing that your Completion % for an assignment is looking low? Nudge is a great feature to send a reminder to users who haven't complete the assignment yet to take it.

Just click the box next to the assignment, then Nudge. Craft up a quick reminder and click Submit.

Pro Tip: The nudge will only go out to users who have not yet completed the assignment.

Messaging

You have the ability to send out a personalized message to entire segments or individual users.  

Segments:

1. Under the People and Segment tab, click on any/all of the segments you'd like to reach out to and then click Message 

2. Create a subject and body text for your message

3. Double-check you've got all your segments included 

4. Schedule when you'd like your message to go out

Users:

1. Under the People and Users tab, click on any/all of the segments you'd like to reach out to and then click Message

Pro Tip: You can view the number of segments or users you have selected using the handy counter at the bottom of the Step 2 page!

Welcome Emails

Need to send a whole segment or a few users a welcome email for Trivie? Here's how:

Segments:

1. Under the People and Segment tab, click on any/all of the segments that need a welcome email and click Send Invite

2. Double-check you've got all your segments included

4. Schedule when you'd like your welcome email to go out 

Users:

1. Under the People and Users tab, click on any/all of the users that need a welcome email and click Send Invite

2. Double-check you've got all your users included

4. Schedule when you'd like your welcome email to go out 

Pro Tip: Best practice is to have an assignment live for users to engage with when they create their account from the welcome email 

Resetting Passwords

Resetting user passwords is as easy as 1 click:

1. Under the People and Users tab, select the user/s that need a password reset.

2. Click reset password
