How do I add resources?

Resources are files that users can view from within the game to add additional content. These can be used to help users learn while they're taking a quiz. 

Pro Tip: For each quiz, you can select one Resource that can serve as a Requisite Resource, which is viewable before the quiz. To learn more about Requisite Resouces check out What is a Requisite Resource? or check out What kinds of files can I upload?

How do I view my resources?

Click on the "Resource" button on the main left-side navigation. You'll be able to see all your quizzes, the number of resources tied to them, and also the files you have uploaded in the Files tab.  

Dropdown any quiz to see the Resource Files for that Quiz. You can then click on a Resource File row to view information about that Resource.

Some super helpful things you can do here is previewing your file and view tracking to see what users accessed your resource! 

How do I upload a resource?

Click the Create button to be taken to the Resource upload form.

The Resource File upload form has three parts:

1. Settings

Title: You must enter a title and a description for the file. This lets users identify the resource without having to view it first.

Description: This is an optional field if you'd like to add some additional color to your resource.

Allow Download: Do you want users to be able to download this resource? If so, then turn this on.

2. Associate Quiz(zes)

Resource Files must be associated with at least one quiz, but can be added to as many quizzes as you'd like.

3. Upload FIle

Click on, or drag and drop your file onto, the upload input that looks like this:

How does a user gain access to a resource?

When a user is assigned a quiz, they automatically gain access to any resources that are tied to that quiz. This does not apply to scheduled assignments, only active and completed ones.
